A steel pipe reducer is a component used in the pipelines to reduce its size from large to small bore in accordance to the inner diameter.
There are 2 types of standard reducers available: concentric and eccentric reducers.
Concentric reducer—which resembles a cone, is used to join pipe sections on the same axis.
Eccentric reducer—This type has an edge which is parallel to that of the connecting pipe, which allows it to align with one side of the inlet.
